I recently finished a 5-week immersive program with Flora in Brooklyn. After becoming obsessed with the possibilities, I started to think about what immediate need this could fill for me. I do lots of ceramic work in my free time. Unfortunately, I don't own a nice photography studio set up, so I thought "why not use AI?"

I stared with using photos of my work I took on my kitchen counter.

From here, I went to Flora and uploaded my photos. I began by extracting the backgrounds and isolating my pieces. I then went to Pinterest for lighting inspiration.

Then, the iteration process began to create a usable "technique."
The goal was to have a text node using Claude Sonnet articulate the art direction from the inspiration images. I wanted it to extract the lighting, cyclorama colors, soft shadows, monochromatic tones, lighting direction, etc. Then, turning that articulation into a repeatable prompt to generate my pieces in this new lighting.

The "Ceramics Studio" technique did exactly that. It takes the inspiration image and articulates the art direction into a usable prompt. Then the user inputs their ceramic piece into a new image node and hits generate. In this instance, using Nano Banana Pro, a new image is generated of the ceramic piece with the referenced image attached for reference.
